KNOw before you go!

GC Boat Tours values and prioritises our guests safety and delivers an adventurous, authentic, affordable and personalised experience you'll love to share with family or friends.

What to expect

Bring your sense of adventure. GC Boat Tours is an open boating experience. Unfortunately, our vessel is not suitable for wheelchairs, strollers or prams or guests with impaired mobility. We tour only in sheltered inland waterways. However, winds and tidal flows can make things a bumpy at times. You will be in an exposed natural environment with weather conditions which include sun, wind, salt spray and rain showers on occasions. We have a semi-enclosed area which offers some protection in case of wet weather. Flexible re-booking policy applies. GC Boat Tours offers guests bottled water. We carry spare water, sunscreen and hand sanitiser. We have optional extras including a delicious freshly prepared share plate, quality Australian sparking wine or BYO drinks. If you would like to add any extras please get in contact with us.

What to wear and what to bring

Casual clothing.

Comfortable beach-style footwear.

A hat which stays on in a breeze.

Apply sunscreen before you board.

Bring something warm to put on over the top for cool days or late afternoons.

Always bring a spray jacket and if rain showers are forecast your jacket should be able to keep you dry.

Children welcome

Children 3 years and older are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A minimum are of 3 years is required to ensure personal flotation devices (life jackets) are available for everyone on board. There is a maximum of three children (under 13 years of age) per booking. We recommend young children wear a personal flotation device at all times.

Boat safety

GC Boat Tours is licensed, fully insured and complies with all relevant environmental and maritime safety standards. Your safety is our first priority. We have a VHF radio to contact Marine Rescue in the unlikely event of an emergency situation. PFDs (life jackets) are an integral part of the safety equipment. It is recommended but not required that all children under 13 years wear a PFD at all times. Guests 13 years and older are not required to wear a PFD as we operate only in inland (sheltered) waters. Guests are welcome to wear a PFD if they prefer. Please advise your skipper / host. How to fit a PFD and where the PFDs are located on the vessel will be demonstrated in the safety briefing prior to departure.

NO SMOKING or VAPING
